Hello Capital Region! This is the Hudson Mohawk Magazine, broadcasting from the Sanctuary for Independent Media in Troy, NY.

First, we’ll hear from correspondent Mark Dunlea he spoke with Jeff Corbin of Union College about community choice aggregation.
After that, acclaimed author Shana Gourdine sits down with H. Bosh Jr. to talk about her new book “The Mask Behind the Mask” and how she’s making a difference in our community by being a true specialist on overcoming adversity
Then, Spencer speaks with Dan Shapley, Water Quality Program Director of Riverkeeper, on recent legislative actions and water quality issues in the Hudson and Mohawk Rivers.

And later on, correspondent Willie Terry speaks with various community activists giving their thoughts on the new reform law at the Celebrate Historic Pretrial Reform rally that they held in front of the Rensselaer County Courthouse in Troy, New York.

And rounding out the show, Andrea speaks with Ruth Kassel from Siena College about community engagement.
