Climate Matters with Jessica Ottney Mahar Of The Nature Conservancy – 3

Jessica Ottney Mahar discusses The Nature Conservancy’s history – including their long-standing role in preservation of land as well as complementary roles in environmental policy and advocacy here in NY, across the U.S., and internationally. The core of this discussion covers recently passed NY climate legislation, the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act(at the time of recording it was not yet sent to the Governor). Jessica goes on to describe the extent of ambition, planning and next steps, as well as how the public can follow and engage in the process.
