10′ Stamp Out Hunger 5-8-19

The Capital District Area Labor Federation raised nearly a thousand dollars for this year’s Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. The money was delivered via check Wednesday to The Regional Food Bank with representatives from The Food Pantries for the Capital District and the National Association of Letter Carriers in attendance. In this segment we hear Natasha Pernicka, Executive Director of the Food Pantries for the Capital District, followed by Tracey Martin, the Associate Director at the Regional Food Bank, and members of the NALC. The Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive takes place this Saturday, May 11th. You can leave a bag of non-perishable food items and toiletries by your mailbox to be collected by USPS. You can also make a cash donation directly to The Regional Food Bank.
