New York Clean Energy Plan

Clean Energy

Last Wednesday, state legislators and environmental advocates announced a campaign to move New York to 100% clean energy by 2030, along with an immediate halt to new fossil fuel infrastructure. WOOC correspondent Mark Dunlea filed a report from the State Capitol. Speaking first is Assembly member Bill Colton, the lead sponsor. He is followed by Assembly member Richard Gottfried, Alex Beauchamp of Food and Water Watch, and RPI Professor Steve Breyman.
