Kevin Krolik On HMM 4 – 5-18

This is the Hudson Mohawk Magazine on WOOC 105.3 FM, broadcast from The Sanctuary for Independent Media in Troy, NY with H. Bosh Jr.
and Guy Schaffer. Today, WOOC’s Mark Dunlea will be discussing the state of environmental issues – as they fare in the recently passed New York State Budget. Then, in the Triple-E segment, Education, Entrepreneurship and Empowerment, we’ll be speaking with ballet dancer, actress, and model Mahogany Akita. Afterwards, WOOC youth interns Traevon Vautrin and Lauryn Wilson report from the “Women in Poverty, Women in Leadership” conference that was held in Troy as part of the Poor People’s Campaign, and later on Willie Terry is going to be talking Tanya Grant of SEIU Local 1199. We close with Kevin Krolik, director of the RPI Chapel & Cultural Center, about the center’s history and service as it prepares to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
