Senator Liz Krueger talks fossil fuel legislation with Meghan and Dave

An interview with Sen. Liz Krueger by our correspondent Mark Dunlea. Mark asked her about her new bill to curtail the $1.5 billion in annual direct subsidies that New York State provides for fossil fuels. Sen. Krueger is also the lead sponsor along with Assemblymember Felix Ortiz of the bill to divest the state pension funds from fossil fuels. Before joining the State Senate, Senator Krueger was a leading anti-hunger advocate in NYC working on a range of food policy issues as well as running the NYC Food Bank.
