Dick Sleeper talks The TEAL with Meghan Marohn

Our next segment is part 2 of our correspondent Meghan Marohn’s interview with boater, educator, and North Troy resident Dick Sleeper. In Part 1 Meghan had joined Dick on his boat “Spiritts” to learn more about the history, culture and ecology of the Hudson, and to see what a boating adventure in Troy is all about. We join Meghan and Dick onboard the TEAL, a floating classroom that was docked on the Waterford canal, talking about Uptown Summer youth water testing and the potential of a new educational collaboration between Uptown Summer teachers and science teacher Bill Foster and the rest of the crew of the TEAL.
