Jade Warrick Memorializes Jamel Mosely’s Duck Rescue

In the days after the January 6th capitol riot, Jamel Mosely was surprised to find an out of place duck wandering the streets of his urban neighborhood. Artist Jade Warrick, a.k.a. trashkid, was one of his many social media followers who found joy watching Jamel’s duck resuce story play out. When the Troy Farmer’s Market asked Jade to design a mural in their new space, she chose to memorialize Jamel and his duck. In this interview Jade and Jamel tell HMM producer, Melissa Bromley, how it all went down.
