Troy Pohl

Troy Pohl is a musician, sound designer, and studio engineer. He has extensive experience in running interdisciplinary electronic arts studios, and was a studio engineer in the iEAR Studios in Rensselaer for over 10 years, starting in 2000. He is also the lead singer as well and bass player the bands known as the Kamakaze Hearts. He is a huge part in the Sanctuary for Independent Media, and a huge helping hand throughout our workshops and events! Pohl held a workshop in November 2013, which covered artistic and professional tips and techniques, including the basics of mixing, setting up audio tracks, use of compression, noise gates, EQ, modulation, and more!
