Dan Phiffer

Dan Phiffer is a web developer living in the Hillside neighborhood of Troy. He builds tools and websites with a social justice orientation, including mediasanctuary.org.

Dan is a full stack engineer at The Markup a non-profit investigative newsroom covering technology, and is Unit Chair for The Markup Union (part of the New York NewsGuild local).

Dan is a proud Sanctuary Sustainer and occasionally contributes to the Hudson Mohawk Magazine, reporting on Data Justice. He is involved as member-owner of social.coop Mastodon instance, where he can be found as @[email protected].
