Today, on the Hudson Mohawk Magazine:

First, Mark Dunlea speaks with Katie Baildon of NOFA-NY about the Good Food NY Bill which has passed the NY Senate and is now headed to the NY Assembly.

Then, Roaming Labor Correspondent Willie Terry attended (virtually) the People’s Conference for Palestine held in Detroit, Michigan and provides audio highlights from the keynote speaker, Yara Shoufani of the Palestine Youth Movement.

Later on, We have highlights from the Albany Common Council and their adoption of the Good Cause Eviction law after they were the first city in the state to implement such a tenant protection.

After that, Elizabeth (EP) Press interviewed Annee Borthwick, V. Zubkovs from the Department of Planning & Community Development, and arborist Andrew Lynn, regarding Annee’s efforts to save a healthy tree from being cut down by the city of Troy.

Finally, Jordan Taylor Hill talks about his West African Drumming and Dancing, which he will be performing at this weekend’s Freedom Fest on June 8.
