HMM 05 – 06 – 2024

Today, on the Hudson Mohawk Magazine,
We start off with Mark Dunlea reporting on the May Third rally sponsored by several dozen community groups calling on banks to stop funding fossil fuel companies as a way to stop the climate chaos.

Then, Sina Basila Hickey talks with Elie Irons about the “Plant Swap” being held at the Sanctuary on Saturday, May 11th.

After that, Hugh Johnson joins us once again for our weekly look at climate and weather, this time focusing on the continued record-breaking monthly average global temperatures, the severe weather in various parts of the country, and the weekly forecast.

Then Lavender speaks with local singer-songwriter Emily Beck about her music and current Hudson Valley tour.

And we end with a piece to honor the National Awareness Day for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two Spirit.
