HMM 04 – 01 – 2024

Today, on the Hudson Mohawk Magazine,
First, we have an interview by Sina Basila Hickey with Callie Evans of New York Public Interest Research Group, or NYPIRG, about an emergency action and conference for the Climate Superfund at the Albany Capitol on Tuesday April 2nd.

Then, we hear from All of Us founders, Jamaica Miles and Shawn Young, with Imam Jamal Shah, as they discuss the recent efforts to get the Schenectady City Council to pass a resolution calling for a Ceasefire in Gaza.

Later on, retired National Weather Service meteorologist Hugh Johnson joins us to talk about the upcoming solar eclipse and the snow storm expected later this week.

After that, Sina is back with a piece about FEM-meeting, an upcoming two days of presentations and workshops about women in science and the arts.

Finally, we have a piece from our archives with Veronica Maroulis interviewing Katrin Ramsey on her experience volunteering as an end-of-life doula in the Capital Region.
