HMM 09 – 15 – 23

Today on the Hudson Mohawk Magazine:

We begin with Mark Dunlea’s look at the inadequacy of the monthly shelter allowance provided to low-income persons on public assistance.

Then, Dr. Jose Cruz from the University at Albany talks about the importance of National Hispanic Heritage Month, a celebration that runs September 15th through October 15th.

Later on, Mark Dunlea is back with a report from the September 14th rally in Manhattan protesting risky investments in fossil fuels.

After that, we hear about nine labor-related fiction and non-fiction books suggested by Cheryl McKeon of the Book House at Stuyvesant Plaza.

Finally, after another successful Water Justice Lab program, we look back on what’s taken place.
