HMM 09 – 11 – 23

Today, on the Hudson Mohawk Magazine:

We begin with Mark Dunlea talking with Vicki Michela from Progressive Schenectady about that group’s mobilization to send busloads of local activists to the September 17th rally in New York City to end the use of fossil fuels.

Then, our roaming labor correspondent Willie Terry brings us part two of his recent interview with Rev. Ibrahim Pedrinan, President of the Albany County Central Federation of Labor and the American Postal Workers Union Local 390.

Later on, Moses Nagel speaks to the rail bike guides from Revolution Rail who recently helped extract a group of RPI students stranded in the Adirondacks.

After that, this is Hudson Mohawk Magazine’s 6th anniversary! To celebrate, we hear from Sanctuary co-founder Steve Pierce about how HMM came about.

Finally, once again retired meteorologist High Johnson joins us for a discussion of Hurricane Lee, the impact of climate change on hurricane frequency and severity, and – of course – his forecast for the week’s weather.
