HMM 03 – 01 – 23

Today, on the Hudson Mohawk Magazine:

We begin with a discussion about federal assistance to obtain food stamps as SNAP benefits are being cut.

Then, for our peace bucket, we discuss an upcoming national peace rally in DC on March 18.

Later on, Wille Terry covers labor at the recent Black and Puerto Rican Caucus weekend.

After that, Brea Barthel talks with Underground Railroad Education Center in Albany about an upcoming book talk about the author’s journey visiting Underground RR sites by bike.

Finally, Black History doesn’t end in February, so Lavender set out to collect stories on stories of Black history that more people should know about.
