HMM 01 – 21 – 22

Today, on the Hudson Mohawk Magazine,
We begin with the Norlite press conference that took place in front of the DEC office in Albany to demand Norlite stop mixing toxic ash into its aggregate product.
Then we hear excerpts from another press conference that took place earlier in the week to extend funds to and create permanent alternatives to Funds for Excluded Workers.
Later on, Brea Barthel gives us a better understanding of services at the Albany County Crime Victims and Sexual Violence Center.
After that, ER doctor Xavier Coughlin updates on what he’s seeing in the hospital where covid is rampant and doctors and nurses are facing burn out.
Finally, Eunice Jeong interviews RPI Professor Nancy Campbell on her work researching drug overdoses and medical ethics.
