Be The Media! workshop: “The Struggle to Tell Your Story,” with “Witness” director Masood Haque

Join us for the Be The Media! Workshop “The Struggle to Tell Your Story,” as Witness Director Masood Haque breaks down the process of creating his documentary about the Aref-Hossain “sting” case.
Learn from Haque as he shares the challenges and sacrifices that had to be made in order to create this documentary. He will focus on strategies to humanize documentary subjects and giving voice to individuals and communities that have been othered.
***Please note that for everyone’s safety, we are following Covid protocols that include requirements that all attendees show proof of vaccination or a recent test for entry, and wear a mask. We will notify ticket holders if the protocols change.
Workshop participants can stick around for the 7pm film screening of Witness.
