“The Time For Denial Is Over” Plastics Exhibition at Context Collective

“Broken Plastics” is the project by artist Nicole Chochrek where she put microplastics collection bins in community trafficked locations to later make artworks out of the plastics collected. A lot of what was collected is on display at “The Time For Denial Is Over” an exhibition at Context Collective (95 4th St, Troy, NY 12180) from October 23 – November 21, 2026, and presented by Nature Lab & The Sanctuary For Independent Media. Nicole Chochrek has been working with our organization primarily via Water Justice Lab, and the opening exhibition for this exhibition is on Friday, October 23.
