Break the Bonds NYS Charge DiNapoli with Ethical Violations

The New York State (NYS) Commission on Ethics and Lobbying in Government (COELIG) has failed to investigate three formal complaints alleging violations of the Code of Ethics of the Public Officers Law by NYS Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli over his investments of the state’s Common Retirement Fund (CRF) in Israel Bonds. COELIG also denied a request for documents related to these complaints made under the Freedom of Information Law (FOIL). Break the Bonds New York State (BTBNYS) filed the complaints as part of its campaign to end investment in Israel Bonds. Jim McCabe talks to Mark Dunlea of Hudson Mohawk Magazine.
