TOPOS Music Festival, a Viceral Experience

Music shapes us, and music can transform our relationships with the world around us and with ourselves. This year TOPOS music festival returns, asking the audience questions such as, What does music know about us that we don’t yet know about ourselves? The festival runs from September 2-5, and Amadeus Regucera, the curator of music at EMPAC, spoke with Sina Basila Hickey about the themes of this year’s festival. On Wednesday September 2, The Sanctuary for Independent Media will be the location of the opening events featuring Edward George and film “Black Atlas” as well as a conversation with Fred Moten.
