Writing to Process Addiction, Grief, Loss, and Survival

Alyssa is working on her memoir which she plans to call Traumalogical Matrix. This book will cover the first sixteen years of her life which includes addiction, grief, loss, and survival. Writing has always been a therapeutic practice as well as one to connect with others. Alyssa is currently living in a mobile home with her husband, son, family friend, four dogs, and a cat, but they are headed out soon for The Unbeetable Harvest where they will harvest sugar beets in the northern midwest. She spoke with Sina Basila Hickey.
