Natu Camara to Perform at Media Sanctuary on May 15

Natu Camara feeds energy from her audience. Her recent album DIMEDI infuses her Guinean roots with Malian sounds and was recorded in Salif Keita’s studio. She spoke with Sina Basila Hickey as said the album turned out just as she wanted: “mellow, sweet, and also easy to change on stage, so I can play a soft album into a fire album on stage.” Natu also said that concert attendees should bring their dancing shoes but to also be ready for emotion.
