Professor Bria Nickerson of the University at Albany works alongside New York State policymakers reviewing, improving, and creating laws that better support the needs of disenfranchised communities. During our interview, we meet with Professor Nickerson to discuss the women who have influenced her work as a Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Professor, her experience at the Legislative branch thus far, and her hopes for the future of American policy-making.
