The Black Experience in the Adirondacks: Dr. Alice Paden Green

“The Black Experience in the Adirondacks” exhibition will include the story of Dr. Alice Paden Green, well known for her social justice and racial equality work. She grew up in the Adirondacks, the subject of her memoir “Outsider: Stories of Growing Up Black in the Adirondacks.” Curator Charles Clark III speaks with Sean Bernyk about Dr. Alice Green in connection to the Adirondacks.

“The Black Experience in the Adirondacks” will be an interactive exhibition at the Adirondack Experience, the Museum on Blue Mountain Lake, coming in 2027.
