Tuesday, July 8 – Friday, August 9
Join our creative culinary challenge and collaborate to build a healthy community!
This summer, the community will come together, feed people lunch during 20 days of public art workshops on one traditionally neglected block (home to The Sanctuary for Independent Media, Missing Link Street Ministry, Collard City Growers and Troy Bike Rescue.) The workshops are part of “Found Art in North Troy / Uptown Summer,” dedicated to themes of art, food, and sustainability.
We will bring art and food to the street, with strategies to cook nutritious food on a budget for large groups of people. At 20 days in the end — the recipes will be integrated into a cookbook that expresses our philosophy of food and how we approach food.
