Eclipse and disco ball

Watching a near-total solar eclipse with a disco ball? Yep! Dr. Valerie Rapson, astrophysicist at SUNY Oneonta, explains how she’ll do this when the Capital Region has a solar eclipse with 95% totality on April 8th. Hear about what creates an eclipse, why the view is different in different areas, the effect on animals, and more. To meet Dr. Rapson in person, head to the annual meeting of the Friends of Five Rivers on Saturday February 3rd. To register, and for more details, visit friendsoffiverivers.org.
