William Alley – Global Groundwater Dependence

Hmm correspondent Spencer hears from Dr. William Alley on the current challenges we face due to our global dependence on groundwater. Dr. Alley will be speaking on this topic at Union College at 7pm on Wed, February 12 as part of their “Environmental Science, Policy, & Engineering” Series. The talk will be held in the Nott building on Union’s campus.

Dr. William Alley is currently Director of Science and Technology for the National Groundwater Association and previously served as Chief of the Office of Groundwater for the US Geological Survey. His book “High and Dry: Meeting the Challenges of the World’s Growing Dependence on Groundwater” was published in 2017. His most recent book, “The War on the EPA: America’s Endangered Environmental Protections” was just published on Jan 30, 2020.
