Voter Registration Day

Tuesday, September 25 was National Voter Registration Day and civic engagement organizations across the country participated in voter registration drives in public spaces. The League of Women Voters of New York State was out in force across New York and throughout the capital region, registering hundreds of new voters. Hudson Mohawk Magazine correspondent Corinne Carey caught up with Judy Meyer who ran a registration effort at Lansingburgh’s popular ice cream destination, the Snow Man. She talked to Meyer, the owner of the Snow Man, John Murphy, and a number of folks who came out to change their registration.
