Thevinin Shooting Protestors Unrelenting, Pressure Troy City Council to Acknowledge Coverup as Civil Rights Lawsuit Moves Ahead

Protestors spoke out at last week’s Troy City Council Meeting in reaction to the Times Union’s report about previously unreleased information concerning the killing of Edson Thevinin by Troy Police in 2016. A federal judge recently denied the City’s request to dismiss a civil rights suit filed by Thevinin’s widow.
