The Freight Farm at Troy’s Local Boys and Girls Club

HMM producer Anna Steltenkamp speaks with Olivia Stalvey, the coordinator of Troy’s local Boys & Girls Club’s freight farm. Listen in to learn about the positive impacts the freight farm has had on the Boys & Girls Club’s youth in Downtown Troy. The freight farm has increased accessibility to fresh produce, promoted collaboration across ages, and acted as a laboratory for educating the youth about urban agriculture, STEM, personal health, and entrepreneurship.
