The Bardo Project

Creating a legacy for artists who are dying — that’s the life work of Marne Lucas, a death doula and an artist who works with terminally ill creative people. Lucas talks to HMM correspondent Corinne Carey about what it means to be a death doula, how she was inspired to enter the field by her work as a portrait photographer, and how the combination of those roles led her to create the Bardo Project.
