SHARE Clean Energy Letter to Gov. Cuomo

Sheridan Hollow Alliance for Renewable Energy

Last week more than 100 faith leaders signed a letter to Gov. Cuomo urging him to power the State Capitol complex with clean renewable energy. Governor Cuomo’s current plan requires the burning of fracked gas. The plant is located in Albany in the Sheridan Avenue community, a low-income neighborhood full of families, schools, and businesses. WOOC talked with SHARE (Sheridan Hollow Alliance for Renewable energy) Co-Chair and Albany County Legislature Mert Simpson as well as Rev. McKinley Johnson about this effort.
