Push to Pass Albany Clean Air Law in the New Year

At the Jan. 1 swearing-in ceremony for the Albany County Legislature, clean air advocates called for the County Executive to impose a moratorium on tire burning by the LaFarge Cement plant while the County considers a clean air law. We talk with Barbara Heinzen of the LWV and Judith Enck of Beyond Plastics (from prior news conference). Also talk with Assembly Phil Steck of Colonie about his 2020 priorities.
