Peace Activist Pat Hynes Live Interview 3-4-19

The US military uses 1 million gallons of fossil fuels….every day?! This and other distressing revelations in our interview with Pat Hynes, director of the Traprock Center for Peace and Justice in western Massachusetts, she writes and speaks widely on the relationship of militarism to climate change, as well as the health effects of war and militarism on society and on women.

Pat works closely with the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom, providing support to war refugees in Syria and Sierra Leone. She will be speaking Thursday night at the annual dinner for Women Against War at the First Lutheran Church 181 Western Ave, Albany. Starting at 530 PM. Women Against War is also honoring Marcia Hopple for her efforts as a peace activist.
