Rensselaer Solid Waste 9’56 News 6-12-2019

More than 60 community activists in Rensselaer gathered on Sat June 8 to support a proposal in the County Legislature to impose a one-year moratorium on new solid waste facilities within one mile of the Hudson River. Groups want to stop a proposed BioTech waste facility at the old BASF site on the River. They also want the state to shut down the Dunn Construction and Demolition debris landfill.
