Science and Health Professionals Explain the Health Risks of Norlite

Test results of dust particles coming from the Norlite facility in Cohoes show that they pose a significant health risk to nearby residents. We hear from Dave Walker, a geologist and professor emeritus at Columbia who tested the Norlite dust; Leonardo Trasande, chief of the Division of Environmental Pediatrics at the NYU School of Medicine; and local resident and parent Chris Sevinsky, who has a Ph.D. focused in biomedical science and cancer biology. With Mark Dunlea for Hudson Mohawk Magazine.
