Mindful Intentions

Hmm Correspondant Danica Cantrell interviews JD, owner of “Mindful Intentions”, a local business in Troy, about what it’s like owning a small business before and now during Covid-19.

In 2016, JD and his partner began creating tangible and personal reminders of intention and healing in and through their handmade beaded bracelets. Since then, their inventory and business has grown. Their business evolved into a healing space with workshop opportunities, all while continuing to operate as a retail shop with a growing and broadening inventory.

After much deliberation they have decided to not renew the shop’s lease in Troy this year. They will continue to provide all the same great products right on their website 24/7 and will keep people posted when they are vending at local craft shows, and maker’s markets through their Facebook group.
