Mediation Matters

Mediation Matters is a non-profit organization of volunteers and professionals dedicated to helping people manage and resolve conflict and has been serving the capital region since 1979. The organization helps individuals, families, and communities to resolve conflicts in the capital region. Hudson Mohawk Magazine correspondent Corinne Carey spoke with Sarah Rudgers-Tysz, director of Mediation Matters, about some of the services the organization offers, and how they will be involved in implementation of the state’s recent plan to move young people charged with certain crimes out of criminal courts and into the family court system.
