Marijuana Legalization in NY

Despite attempts to decriminalize marijuana and de-escalate policing of marijuana offenses in New York City and across the state, data from police departments show that decline in arrests is minimal. Calls for legalization are increasing not just among long-time drug law reform advocates. Hudson Mohawk Magazine correspondent, Corinne Carey, spoke with a member of a new state Task Force called together to recommend legislation that would legalize marijuana in New York State.
