Luz Marquez – Benbow on being a Survivor of Rape & Sexual Assault, BLM Activist, Afro-Latina

Luz Marquez Benbow is an Afro-Latina, survivor of rape and sexual assault, she has been working for more than 20 years creating policy to end sexual assault, advocating for women of color and creating a support system for the survivors of sexual assault. She is BLM activist and she is determined to end violence in Troy and in the Capital Region. Interview by Aileen Javier.
