Juneteenth, Part Three: Kareem Ture

On Saturday, June 14th, 2019, Hudson Mohawk Network Roaming Labor Correspondent Willie Terry attended the Capital Region “19th Juneteenth” celebration in Central Park in Schenectady. The Hamilton Hill Arts Center in Schenectady sponsored the event. Juneteenth is the celebration of the end of slavery in America. In Part Three of this special on the Juneteenth celebration in Schenectady, you will hear an interview with Kareem Ture, poet and author of two books, “Mahogany Scriptures” and “Chocolate Clouds.”
