Jamaica Miles on Black Lives Matter Protests in the Capital District

(Intro)Historic protests are taking place around the country after the killing of George Floyd by a police officer in Minneapolis. WOOC correspondent Elizabeth Press spoke to community leader Jamaica Miles about the protests that have been happening here in the Capital District.

(outdo)That was Jamaica Miles, a founding member of the All Of Us Community Action Group speaking about the protests against police brutality here in the Capital District. Sunday’s protest for Black lives will begin with a rally and program at 2:00 p.m. at Troy Riverfront Park, marching through the city of Troy, and ending with a closing program at Riverfront Park.
