Prattsville Festival

After the small Catskill Mountains community of Prattsville was devastated by floods in 2011, the community started rising again with the help of edgy art. At first they celebrated their resiliency with Mudfest, but for the past four years that’s become Headed for the Hills, designed to celebrate diversity and a meeting of urban and rural worlds and people. Hudson Mohawk Magazine visited the three day festival this weekend; what we found WAS truly radical.
