Free Food Fridge Albany

Jammella Anderson – yoga teacher, doula, and activist – joins HMM to discuss Free Food Fridge Albany: a project with the mission of free and accessible food for marginalized neighborhoods and people. No strings attached! The effort has raised thousands in donations and received dozens of inquiries from individuals wanting to help – from maintaining the fridges to painting them. It’s all part of dismantling racism and an effort to reduce barriers to access that are based on race or income.
