Fourth Of July Part 3

Today we are discussing with Steve Blackledge of Environment Advocates the effort to ban plastic straws, including the recent decision by Starbucks to do so.
Then, for our weekly peace segment, singer Sheri Bauer is interviewed by John Amidon about the well-organized song leading component of the Poor People’s Campaign during the actions at the NYS capital in Albany, NY.
Afterwards, we’ll hear the last of Willie Terry’s July 4th coverage of the Underground Railroad.
And later on we’ll hear from local musician Hamilton Craig.
