Dr. Gwendolyn Saul of the New York State Museum 7 – 19 – 19

WOOC correspondent Petra Holler sat down with Dr. Gwendolyn Saul, Curator of Ethnography at the New York State Museum, to talk about the tasks and challenges associated with curating Indigenous art and cultural objects. Dr. Saul described her interest in expanding the collection of contemporary Indigenous art, repatriation efforts, building community relationships and upcoming initiatives at the Museum.
