CPV Power Plant

The CPV power plant in Orange County has been one of the most controversial in the state over the last six years. It will account for 10% of the state’s carbon footprint. The Governor’s top aide was recently convicted of political corruption in his dealings with the owners of the plant. Local activists believe due to the conviction the state should rescind the permit and start over again, a position supported by local elected officials. WOOC talk with 3 participants at the weekly rally outside the plant: Jerry Cook, Randy Hurst and Deb Slattery.
