Constructing Communal Care ft. Union Capital Boston with Liz Lee

For the first segment in Constructing Communal Care, radio intern Liz Lee talks with Jalina Suggs. Jalina is the Director of Networks at Union Capital Boston. She talks about how their app and weekly Network Nights facilitate intentional community and aid while also giving advice on how to care for others in our own lives.

Constructing Communal Care is a podcast that explores how different communities and organizations have utilized methods of communal care to create more intentional, anti-carceral, and fruitful spaces. Whether it be through transformative justice, community alternatives to violence and conflict resolution, mutual aid, or more, this podcast aims to be a learning space to understand how we can construct communal care in our own lives and communities.
