Climate Matters With Rabbi Glenn Jacob Segment Two

In segment two of a Climate Matters discussion with Rabbi Glenn Jacob offers a provocative perspective on democracy and engagement with our elected officials. Glenn goes on to describe interactions with Representative Gibson that reveal insights into perceptions (or misconceptions) of houses of worship in his district (CD19). These efforts resulted in the Climate Solutions Caucus. Climate matters calls for getting involved and bringing moral, ethical and religious voices to the table to overcome apathy and silence. In addition to technical, economic and policy actions, community and relationship engagement is crucial to a functioning democracy – it is not a passive endeavor.
